On the first day of the exhibition, GRADUS representatives took part in two significant sessions.
Polina Mashanova spoke at the session "Russian food retail in the context of the modern economy. Challenges and development directions."
In her report, she highlighted current problems in the labor market, including personnel shortages, and offered recommendations for solving them in the changing economic conditions. Among the participants in the session were also Sergey Eliseev, strategic consultant, independent director, mentor and member of the scientific and expert council of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as Dmitry Vostrikov, a representative of Rusprodsoyuz.
Vladimir Vasyutkin spoke at the FOOD FORUM "SUPPLIER IN THE NETWORK" as part of the session "Category management and pricing for a supplier: how to fix the main reason for ineffective work with a network". In his speech, he covered two key topics:
"Smart merchandising based on data analytics" - how data helps to improve the efficiency of product display and adapt sales strategy to changes in consumer preferences.
"Trends in baby food sales" - analysis of current trends, forecasts and recommendations for manufacturers and retailers.
Leading market experts also took part in this session: Maria Shmatkova, Head of Format Concept Development at Magnit and founder of Retail Dok, Anna Bakurskaya, expert in category management, process automation and strategy development for companies, and Evgeniya Rzhevskaya, Head of Retail Sales Development at the United Meat Processing Plant.
